Brought by the same people behind Deedot, a coffee house in Holland Park West, Groundhog Social gives a twist to classics: avo on toast is sprinkled with dukkah and served with their house-made beetroot hummus; and rice pudding congee comes with poached chicken and soft poached egg.
This bright and airy cafe uses fresh seasonal produce. It has a takeaway window where you can grab coffee, cold drinks and an assortment of easy to eat and ready to go food options. Kickstart the day with a cup of joe from Coffee Supreme.
Pumpkin hash benny, a standout from the summer menu, combines poached eggs, burnt butter hollandaise, house-made pumpkin and potato hash, pea purée, wilted greens. You can add bacon or our cured salmon for a little something extra. For a dairy-free treat, try their chia soaked in coconut cream, layered with seasonal fruit purée and topped with toasted nuts and muesli.
As you devour such treats, wash them down with wine, spirit, or their local-favourite espresso martini. They also offer craft beers, from Archer Brewing, Diablo Ginger Beer, and Slipstream Brewing offered both on tap and in can. They are licensed from 11:30 am onwards.
For a boozy brunch, check out the Groundhog Social. They serve all-day breakfast and lunch, Mondays to Thursdays from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. They are also open for dinner on weekends, with live music on Sundays.
