Hosted by the Manly Creative Markets, attendance is absolutely free.

The WSHS Concert Band will perform at 9:00 a.m. to be followed by the WSHS Big Band at 9:30 a.m. Local musician Cody Miller performs at 10:00 a.m. followed by guest Sunnybank Brass Band at 10:30 a.m.  Other performers include the FAD (Fitness and Dance) at 11:30 a.m., Bayside Brass Band (12:00 p.m.), Momentum (1:00 p.m.), Queensland Performers Academy (1:30 p.m.), and the Bayside Brass Band (Int) (2:30 p.m.).

Apart from the wonderful musical entertainment, the harbour will also have special culinary offerings from many cafes and restaurants that will offer enticing Mothers’ Day menus. The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS) will offer special menus for lunch (12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and dinner (6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.). Likewise, the Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club offers set menu and continental buffet breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. You can also enjoy their special “a la carte” meals for lunch (11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and dinner (5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.). Due to this weekend’s high demand, bookings are highly recommended for these restaurants.

For something different from the usual fine dining, you can also simply grab cups of coffee or tea along with cakes, fish ‘n chips, or brownies. Sit down with mum for a Mother’s Day picnic at the Marina for a relaxing bayside view and Instagram-worthy photos. Do not forget to take a stroll along the market stalls. There are a lot of wonderful and affordable goods to spoil mum.

With the Manly Creative Markets taking place this weekend and hosting Mothers’ Day, the suburb’s Little Bayside Park at The Esplanade will surely be in a fun-filled atmosphere.
