Perth’s hit Mexican fast food Taco Burger is eyeing Manly as a potential site.
Owned by Darren Faulkner, the fast food restaurant is expanding in Queensland, with Logan Central as their first location. The Logan Central venue is set to open on 22 May. Their second location, which will be in Jimboomba, is scheduled to open mid-year.
Mr Faulkner confirmed that the Logan Central site will be on Wembley Road, but there is no announcement yet about the location in Jimboomba as well as the potential Manly venue.
Other potential sites that they are considering are Toowoomba and Surfers Paradise. They are also looking into the possibility of opening a branch in Ipswich.
Taco with a Western Twist
Mr Faulkner started the restaurant out of his taco-craving whilst driving. He was on-the-go but he knew he wouldn’t be able to eat tacos on the road. This brought life to the concept of a taco burger and it was later on followed by a unique and wacky menu that adds a western twist to Mexican delicacies.
He first opened two ghost kitchens and have the food delivered via UberEATS and Deliveroo. His food became popular and eventually, he established the first Taco Burger restaurant.
The mouthwatering Taco Burger consists of season beef, cheese, sour cream, crunchy tortilla chips, ketchup, fresh lettuce, fresh avo on a brioche bun.
They also have other unique burgers such as the Chili Con Carne Burger. For those looking for the real deal, the restaurant also has the Mexican style Chili Con Carne. Complete the Mexican feast with their Mega Nachos.
