Jim Carrey’s film in 2009, “A Christmas Carol”, is showing at this month’s Free Movies in The Park, which happens every Saturday of the month. The event runs until the 3rd of February 2018. Show starts at 9:00 p.m.
“A Christmas Carol” won the Kid’s Choice Awards for favourite Voice from an Animated Movie back in 2009. Here is an excerpt from the film’s synopsis:
“Though London awaits the joyful arrival of Christmas, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) thinks it’s all humbug, berating his faithful clerk and cheerful nephew for their view. Later, Scrooge encounters the ghost of his late business partner, who warns that three spirits will visit him this night. The ghosts take Scrooge on a journey through his past, present and future in the hope of transforming his bitterness”.
Shucks Bar welcomes oysters lovers daily after a successful soft opening on 17th of November. The place offers fresh oysters from Australian waters, including rock oysters and pacific oysters, that are only shucked upon order, hence the bar’s name. The bar is located on the Esplanade at bayside Manly.
